I'm not exactly a Transformers fan. Heck, I can't even remember watching them when I was a kid. I do know them, but I can't replay an episode on my mind. Well, I wasn't exactly watching tv when I was a kid. We weren't allowed then. So it was just me and my books. And mom's magazines. Anyway, I digress. I was so amazed with the movie! I love it! Makes me wonder even more why I couldn't replay any episode in my mind. Its either I really haven't watched them when I was a kid or I'm just getting old. Thank God I live in the era of movies where any graphic or animation is possible. It makes movie-watching worthwhile.

Great soundtrack, super duper graphics, good story = I LOVE THE MOVIE.

Jihan asked me if I still had trouble sleeping. I told her I'm having nights of blissful sleep ever since I had that massage in Bataan. Oh wow! This is the benefit of massage then! :) I think I'll have one regularly from now on.

YM-ed to me by Ernan:

Havaianas talking to other slippers: "We are the best slippers! We are superior than anything else!"

Spartan: "Tumbang preso nga?!! SPARTANS! PREPARE FOR GLORY! AHHOO AHHHOO AHHOOO!"

My friends are really mean to me when it comes to my slipper fancy :(

This time last year, I was madly in love for the first time. Back then, I've been waiting for him for weeks already to tell me that he loves me too. But as of press time, he's in love with someone else. Of course, to "commemorate" last year's big event, I visited his profile and I'm just so happy that he is happy. I wished that upon him because I couldn't make him happy. The relationship may have been pretty short, but I learned a lot. I never imagined I'd learn all that from my first relationship.

Shall I say, 'til the next one comes along? :)

I spent my weekend at Mei's house in Bataan. And it was a weekend of "firsts".

We left Manila Friday evening. When we arrived at the bus station, oh my, the line was snaking. I was kidding Mei the whole time we were in line that there will not be enough buses to transport all the passengers. By the time its our turn, the bus crew will tell us "Sorry, we ran out of buses. Try again tomorrow." But thankfully, I'm just weird enough to think about that kind of situation and we arrived Bataan around 11 in the evening. It was my first time to go to Bataan.

Tita Wilma, Mei's mom, told us Friday night that we were going to Subic Saturday morning. Since Mei and I are lazy on weekends, we woke up late so by the time Mei's mom was finished with her morning errands, we were still not ready to leave. We arrived SBMA around lunch time and I was so awed since it was my first in SBMA. Hell yeah, I had fun shopping :) Thank God! I didn't bring lots of cash with me! Or else I would have bought a whole lot more. Haha :) I was able to buy the lotion I have been looking for a long time already, Palmer's Cocoa Butter. I was very, very ecstatic when I found it in the shelves.

Then we had late lunch at Pier One Subic. Nice beachfront view :) So breezy and unconventional for a Pier One franchise. Afterwards, we walked along the shoreline, to burn off what we ate. Haha :) Just kidding. Tita Wilma wanted to show me around Subic. And then we went to Subic proper. I was just laughing in my head when I observed that it was a "Gordon" country. Gordon bridge, Gordon village, Gordon street, Gordon politicians, etc. You know how it is here in the Philippines. I don't need to elaborate :)

But the real treat for the day was the body scrub at a spa in Bataan. My first time to have a full body scrub. Haha :) Let's not go into the details since it involved being naked in front of a lady stranger and the said stranger scrubbing your body for about an hour. Funny thing was that the stranger told me I had lots of dead skin in my legs. That didn't sound nice but I surely had a good laugh. Must have been very noticeable for her but not for me since I get to see my legs everyday. Haha :) I also had a massage after the body scrub. My first time as well.

We had to go back to Manila the following morning. Mei had errands to do for her mom back in Manila. But no! She wasn't able to do it since we were both tired from our weekend fun :)

Number of Firsts: 4 :)

HAHAHA! That really made me laugh.

The Level 3's in the office have a tax shield benefit. It means collecting food and gas receipts. It also means encoding the details (total invoice, tax paid, invoice number, date of invoice, TIN of establishment, name of establishment, address of establishment) one by one. And I did that awhile ago. It took me 3 hours to encode my May tax shield. Haha.

PS. My back aches from sitting upright for 3 hours.

I just had a weird conversation with one of the daughters of a former president of this country. I'd rather not dish out about it. They might send me to jail and I will never get a "Get Out Of Jail" pass.

Ah shet, patay na patay pa rin ako sa kanya.

I just checked my Friendster account after months of consciously avoiding logging in. I swear my hands were trembling. And of course, stupid me, I checked my profile and there it was, his testimonial to me. Of course, I saw his new pic with the girl right beside the testimonial. He's happy in the picture. Well, I wished that upon him, to be happy. Wish granted then.

I know, I'll be happy soon :)

I'm feeling blue right now. Maybe brought about by the colds but I can now say that I'm not gonna be part of Pol's life ever anymore. I've lost all hope, even in my daydream thoughts. I wish I'll be happy soon, like him.

PS. This just struck me. Maybe I'm feeling this way because 2 weeks from now, it will be our anniversary, well, supposedly. Nah, I won't linger on that thought. It'll just crush me into pieces.

This was how I spent my Philippine Independence Day long weekend:

Saturday morning: Office. Overtime. Too much work.

Saturday afternoon: On the road to Laguna for Sandy's 3rd year showbiz anniversary party. The car had no aircon. We were all inhaling the fumes of the vehicles all the way from Quezon City.

Saturday evening: Sandy's slave at some resort in Laguna. Helping in preparing her party. I smelled like liempo after. Too bad I didn't get to use the bath tub but the hot shower was enough for me.

Sunday morning: On the road back to Manila. That was a pretty fast ride. Thank God!

Sunday afternoon: Glorietta with Jules and Erwin. Dinner and movie (Paano Kita Iibigin).

Sunday evening: Playing with Nigel. He made me sleep in his plastic bed. I was so afraid to move because the bed might not be able to sustain my weight.

Monday morning: Back in Katipunan by lunch.

Monday afternoon: SLEEP! ALAS, SLEEP! Sent birthday greets to Charo and Wency.

Monday evening: Trinoma with Yay and Pudge. My first visit. Free dinner and free alcohol courtesy of our Russian comrade Louie.

I definitely had fun :) The lack of sleep was totally worth it. I wish I could spend more weekends like this.

Forced to work on a Saturday. What a bummer! I sometimes work on weekends but that's my decision. I just hate when people ask you stuff at the last minute, on a Friday. Jeez.

I watched Ocean's 13 last night and I love it! :) I had a good laugh :)

And so was the girl on my left. She had both her feet on the chair! And she was laughing like she owned the cinema.

And I must say, Brad Pitt is still hot, hot, hot!!!

Hachooo! I've been sneezing the past two weeks. I think I need to see the doctor so that I'll know what's been causing my nasal allergies.

They told me we will just have one round of beer. I had three. I'm dizzy.

Yesterday, I had Tokyo Tokyo for lunch. And then Kimono Ken for dinner. No Japanese food for me today. Please.
